Hi, I’m Lesley, and I am committed to changing the public perception that hairstylists are uneducated by providing accessible, high-level education that demonstrates this industry is built on skill, strategy, and expertise. I created Sew Extra™ because I believe that knowledge is power. By refining technical skills, mastering business strategies, and embracing an elevated mindset, stylists can break through limiting beliefs and build sustainable, six-figure careers.
As a Master Hair Extensionist, salon owner, educator, and business coach with over two decades of experience, I founded Salon 1827 in Salem, NH, and I developed Sew Extra™ Coaching & Edu based on what I learned through my trials and tribulations. I aim to elevate the hair industry through skill, strategy, and expertise. My mission is to transform the perception of hairstylists by offering education that showcases the depth and professionalism of our profession.
